Green Dzambhala Jenang and Practice

Khentrul Rinpoche has agreed to bestow the Green Dzambhala Empowerment. He has agreed to give all 5 forms of Dzambhala and this is the 4th form he will bestow. Once he is complete bestowing all 5 Dzambhalas in the future, he will offer disciples a practice that includes all the forms.

The Connection to Kalachakra & Karma
This particular form of Green Dzambhala is intimately connected with the Kalachakra lineage and its associated teachings. Green Dzambhala, like Green Tara, embodies dynamic, compassionate action—helping us generate positive karma, merit, and prosperity for the benefit of all beings. He is especially aligned with the Karma Family of activity and works in harmony with his consort Vasudhara Dakini.

Wealth and Dharma Practice: A Noble Purpose

In Dharma, wealth is not for luxury or personal gain. The purpose of wealth is to support noble actions—generosity, sharing the Dharma, and aiding all sentient beings. By cultivating generosity, we align ourselves with the Green Karma Family and activate the compassionate energy of Green Dzambhala and the Wisdom Dakini. Through this practice, we invite the flow of positive karma and prosperity, enriching both our lives and the lives of others.

He is an emanation of Amoghasiddhi as Green Jambhala, while his co-equal Wisdom Dakini is a greenish-blue aspect of Vasudhara or Tara. As the Karma-Family  “activity” they are the most active of the Five Jambhalas, and inspire positive karma in our lives. For the purposes of this empowerment, we focus on Green Tara of the Kalachakra lineage, who arise from Amoghasiddhi and Tara.

We have been working over the years as a community to cultivate a connection with all aspects of Dzambhala and in doing so, refine our ability to magnetize the true wealth, the Dharma to create a Golden Age.

This includes both the empowerment and a practice for Green Dzambhala.

Prerequisite and Requirements
It is best if the practitioner has taken the Kalachakra empowerment in the past from any qualified master in any form. If you have not previously received Kalachakra but you wish to take this Green Dzambhala empowerment, Khentrul Rinpoche requests you promise to take the Kalachakra empowerment from him in the future.

  • Who is this course for?

This practice is particularly important for those who seek to be free from poverty through pure activities and who wish to flourish the Dharma in their community.

  • What will you learn?

You will learn how to connect with the pure aspect of Dzambhala through the blessing ceremony, mantra and sadhana.

  • How will this benefit you?

To generate oceans of merit, which is the true wealth, you need bodhicitta and morality. Having a pure motivation in your generosity and the ethical wisdom to take the right action, creates the condition for wealth.

Vajra Master

Khentrul Rinpoche

Jonang Kalachakra and Rimé Master

Khentrul Rinpoché Jamphel Lodrö is the founder and spiritual director of Dzokden. Rinpoche is the author of Unveiling Your Sacred Truth, The Great Middle Way: Clarifying the Jonang View of Other-Emptiness, A Happier Life, and The Hidden Treasure of the Profound Path. Rinpoche spent the first 20 years of his life herding yak and chanting mantras on the plateaus of Tibet. Inspired by the bodhisattvas, he left his family to study in a variety of monasteries under the guidance of over twenty-five masters in all the Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Due to his non-sectarian approach, he earned himself the title of Rimé (unbiased) Master and was identified as the reincarnation of the famous Kalachakra Master Ngawang Chözin Gyatso. While at the core of his teachings is the recognition that there is great value in the diversity of all spiritual traditions found in this world; he focuses on the Jonang-Shambhala tradition. Kalachakra (wheel of time) teachings contain profound methods to harmonize our external environment with the inner world of body and mind, ultimately bringing about the golden age of peace and harmony (dzokden).
